The Arab League has issued a statement condemning the gunfire attack near a mosque in Oman’s Wadi al-Kabir area.
The attack killed at least nine people, including one police officer, and injured 28 others, the Royal Oman Police confirmed.
The Secretary-General of the League expressed solidarity with the people and government of Oman, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
