113 climate change activists arrested in London

As many as 113 people have been arrested in London for blocking the city's roads in an attempt to force the government to do more about climate change.

The protests, led by British climate group Extinction Rebellion, is calling on the government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025.

Police said majority of the protestors were detained on suspicion of public order offences, while five people on suspicion of criminal damage at Shell's HQ.

The activists want to "shut down London" until April 29 in a series of protests.
