Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has taken to social media to explain how she broke her crown.
In a video shared online, she admits that the iconic Phoenix Mikimoto Crown broke as a result of her dancing at her homecoming parade in the Philippines.
The nearly 30-carat crown is embellished with 500 diamonds and 120 naturally white South Sea and Akoya pearls.

On their official Twitter handle, the Miss Universe Organisation was quick to assure the Filipino-Australian beauty queen that it would be repaired in no time.
