Dubai Parks and Resorts Complex is to set to gain a new hotel later this year, with the opening of Marriott International’s Lapita Hotel. The group will also open the first Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Dubai in 2016, taking their portfolio of new establishments to nine by 2018. Details of the company’s UAE debut come as plans are revealed to open an additional four hotels in the country in 2016, among them Abu Dhabi’s first Marriott Hotel. By 2020 the hotel group plan to add a further 93 properties and approximately 19,000 rooms within the region.
