Global star Mackenyu, who played Roronoa Zoro in Netflix's live-action 'One Piece', is among the star line-up at the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) in Abu Dhabi, organisers revealed on Tuesday.
The actor will be available for photo and autograph opportunities as the event unfolds at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from September 11-13.
Fans can also discover independent artists in the ever‑popular Artist Alley, celebrate creativity through the renowned MEFCC Cosplay Competition, take part in interactive workshops and panels, shop exclusive merchandise and collectibles, browse comics and memorabilia, and enjoy a packed programme of entertainment and family‑friendly experiences throughout the weekend.
MEFCC will once again transform the ADNEC, with over 12 attractions across the show floor, including live entertainment and fan competitions on the Festival Stage and dedicated play spaces including the Gaming Arena, Tabletop Zone and TCG Arena.
Tickets are now on sale starting from AED160, with more A-Listers, creators and anime icons set to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
The inaugural edition of MEFCC was in 2012, based in Dubai, before moving to Abu Dhabi for its most recent editions from 2022-2025.
