Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wants to create a virtual butler to help run his home. He describes his plan on his Facebook page, in a post outlining his personal challenges for 2016. The aim is to create an artificially intelligent assistant which will understand his voice, recognise his friends when they ring the doorbell, and control everything in his home, including music, lights and temperature. Zuckerberg’s previous challenges include learning Mandarin, and reading two books every month.
