Courteney Cox ended her engagement because she didn't want to move from Los Angeles. The 'Friends' star reportedly called off her relationship with Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid because she wasn't keen on moving with him back to England and would prefer to stay in the sunshine state. However, despite their break up, the pair are getting on well and have even continued texting each other, gossip website TMZ reports. Meanwhile, the 51-year-old actress has reportedly been "desperate" to try counselling in a bit to settle their differences. A source shared: "Things have been rocky for a while. They were arguing over wedding plans, had one almighty row and she asked him to leave. They are both devastated that it has come to this. Courteney has been especially upset and is telling friends it's a trial separation while they figure out how to move forward. She's desperate to have relationship counselling. "They fell in love extremely quickly. And now it seems that they've reached a stumbling block. Courteney says she loves Johnny and wants to marry him, but she knows deep down they can't plaster over cracks and get hitched without addressing their problems. But she is still hopeful they will get through this, as we all are."
