Charlie Sheen 'can't afford' 55k child support payments

Charlie Sheen says he can't afford his $55,000 a month child support payments to ex-wife Denise Richards. The 50-year-old actor has daughters, Sam, 11 and Lola, 10 , with Denise and claims he can no longer afford the astronomical payments that were previously agreed on when he was earning $613,000 per month on 'Two and a Half Men'. According to TMZ, Charlie has filed legal papers claiming his "income has drastically declined" and asked for the payments to be reduced. This comes just two weeks after Charlie also asked for his child support to his other ex-wife Brooke Mueller, mother of his six-year-old twins Bob and Max, to be slashed. He claims he now makes approximately $87,384 monthly and pays $105,000 bills per month and an additional $25,000 for medical costs. However, Charlie - who revealed last year that he is HIV positive - admitted to selling his rights to 'Two and a Half Men' for $26,750,000. Charlie is currently being sued by Denise, who claims he evicted her and their daughters, from their home and also sent aggressive text messages to their younger daughter. However, one of Charlie's lawyers, Martin Singer, slammed Denise for being "greedy". Mr. Singer said: "I've been representing Charlie for more than 20 years. "Patty [Glaser, Denise's lawyer] is just the latest in a long string of lawyers who Denise has hired to squeeze as much money as she can out of Charlie. This motion has nothing do with their children. Denise is simply being greedy."
