UAE's foreign trade approaches record AED 3 trillion mark in nine months

The UAE's foreign trade has approached a record AED 3 trillion during the first nine months of 2026, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced on Sunday.

In a post on social media platform X, His Highness said the achievement showed a 10 per cent increase from the previous year.

He added that exports to the UAE's 10 largest trading partners rose by 31 per cent from 2025.

"In a year that has seen many economic and political challenges and shifts in global trade, the UAE remains a major hub for international trade, and it continues to respond flexibly and efficiently to all the changes around it," said Sheikh Mohammed.

Sheikh Mohammed also congratulated UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the achievement along with the teams and partners involved.

"The UAE continues to strengthen its network of relationships, expand its export markets, and chart its own distinctive, rapidly advancing path toward sustainable economic growth," he added.
