The UAE has been ranked among the world's top 20 countries for expatriates to live and work in.
That's according to a new survey by the global expat community network, InterNations.
The UAE ranked 18th in the Expat Insider 2021 study, which involved over 12,400 respondents living in 186 countries or territories.
It found that residents in the Emirates are happy with the quality of life and the ease of settling in, in addition to safety and security aspects as well as travel and transportation options.
Ninety-three per cent of respondents also said it's easy to live in the UAE without speaking the local language.
Overall, Taiwan came out on top as the best place for expats to live in, followed by Mexico, Costa Rica, Malaysia and Portugal.
