His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi has also ordered a 20 per cent reduction, lasting two years, in licence renewal fees for businesses affected by construction works on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Street, and on any violations they may have incurred from local government departments and the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The initiative is aimed at revitalising real estate, trade and investment activities in the emirate, and boosting occupancy rates for commercial and residential units.
