The UAE and Turkey have signed several key agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at expanding cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan witnessed the signings during an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Ankara.
The agreements cover areas including the mutual protection of classified information, the formation of a joint consular committee, and investment partnerships in food, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, hospitality and industry.
The two countries also signed a memorandum on cooperation in polar research.
The signings took place during the UAE President’s state visit to Turkey, reinforcing the strong partnership between the two nations.
