Al Ain International Airport (AAN) has welcomed new flights linking the UAE and Cairo.
The twice-weekly service by Nile Air will operate on Mondays and Fridays.
The inaugural flight landed in Al Ain on Monday, July 12.
"The introduction of the new flights comes as part of the expansion of Al Ain International Airport and the introduction of new routes to offer our passengers the best travel experience," said Francois Bourienne, Chief Commercial Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports.
Outbound flights will depart from Cairo International Airport on Mondays and Fridays at 15:40 (local time) and land at Al Ain International Airport at 21:15 (local time).
Meanwhile, return flights will leave Al Ain on Mondays and Fridays at 22:15 (local time), landing in Cairo the following day at 00:05 (local time).
