Middle Eastern carriers have recorded the strongest annual traffic growth globally of 10.5%. That’s according to The International Air Transport Association (IATA) who’ve announced global passenger traffic results for 2015, showing demand rose 6.5%. This was the strongest result since 2010 and well above the 10-year average annual growth rate. As a result, the region’s share of international traffic carried reached 14.2%.
