That's according to a report commissioned by UK consultancy Oxford Economics, which said the AbU Dhabi airline will also support 108,000 jobs. According to James Hogan, the chief of Etihad Aviation Group, the report highlights the impact the airline will have in the US, including adding $2.9bn (AED 10.6 bn) to the country's GDP. The news comes as Etihad opened a new lounge at LAX. The airline also announced plans to increase its Airbus A380 service to New York.
