Emirates Airline has introduced the world's first conflict cover for travel that includes medical reimbursement of up to $25,000 and a free trip extension of up to 30 days.
In an announcement on Wednesday, the Dubai-based airline said the package takes into consideration all conflict disruptions, including expanded medical insurance, airline-managed hotel accommodation, and extended stay at the location depending on the scenario.
The airline added that the conflict cover will also offer free rebooking options to passengers on other airlines where Emirates services are unavailable.
In addition, it will include trip cancellation cover, compensation for baggage delay or loss, unlimited medical expense and emergency evacuation cover worldwide.
It is available for passengers flying to 27 destinations, including the UAE, UK, Canada, and Spain, from June 17.
