Q Mobility, Abu Dhabi’s leading public parking operator, and Parkin Company, Dubai’s largest provider of public parking facilities and services, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation.

The partnership will focus on smart parking technologies, digital integration and the exchange of expertise, with the aim of making parking services more efficient, convenient and sustainable.

Under the agreement, the two companies will develop joint initiatives and explore pilot projects using artificial intelligence, data analytics and advanced digital platforms.

These solutions could help improve parking availability, predict demand, streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.

Q Mobility and Parkin will also explore ways to connect their digital systems, allowing residents and visitors to access parking services and make payments through more seamless and secure digital channels.

The partnership will also look at opportunities to share data and technical expertise, in line with UAE laws and data-protection requirements, while exploring new ways to optimise parking infrastructure and support more sustainable urban mobility.

Mohamed Husain Karmastaji, Q Mobility's CEO, said the agreement reflects a shared ambition to create smarter, more connected and customer-focused mobility solutions across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

He said the partnership will help improve convenience for residents and visitors, while supporting the UAE’s vision for smarter and more sustainable cities.

Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, described the agreement as a strategic milestone for the UAE’s parking sector.

He said the collaboration will combine the expertise of the two emirates’ largest public parking operators to develop a more integrated model for smart parking management.
