Ban on Indian cricketers Hardik, Rahul lifted

India's cricket board has lifted suspensions on Hardik Pandya and Lokesh Rahul.

The pair were suspended after their unflattering comments about women during a celeb talk show stirred a social media outrage.

They were subsequently ordered to return home from the team's tour of Australia.

On Thursday the board said its committee "is of the view that the interim suspension orders... should be presently lifted with immediate effect".

Both players had apologised to the BCCI following the controversy.
