Thick toxic smog is making people cough up blood in Bangkok

Several people in Thailand's capital have been coughing up blood and suffering nose bleeds due to the city’s pollution crisis.

The air quality in Bangkok has been hovering at unhealthy levels, with the city blanketed in a murky haze for weeks now.

Residents posted horrific images of their conditions on their social media handles.

According to reports, the smog contains the dangerous PM2.5 particles.

Authorities have urged people to wear masks while going outdoors.
