Premier League footballer Emiliano Sala was on board a plane that has disappeared over the English Channel.
French authorities have launched a massive search operation to locate the Piper Malibu, when it lost contact near Alderney on Monday night.
The Argentine striker was one of two people on board.
Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman said, "We are awaiting confirmation before we can say anything further. We are very concerned for the safety of Emiliano Sala."
