Five killed in Florida bank shooting

Five people have been killed after a gunman opened fire inside a bank in Florida.

According to reports, the shooter called the police to report that he had fired shots inside the SunTrust bank in the town of Sebring.

He eventually surrendered after the officers stormed the bank when negotiations failed to persuade him to leave the building. 

Authorities have identified the suspect as 21-year-old Zephen Xaver, but the motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
