Sleep can help you ace your exams, say experts

Did you know that teenagers require around 8 to 11 hours of sleep?

Sleep experts are advising students to make sure they get their 40 winks in to perform their best at exams.

Dr Walid Abdul-Hamid, Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director at The Priory Wellbeing Centre in Dubai, tells us why.

      

A fifth of teenagers sleep just five to six hours in the run up to their exams.

That’s what studies by the UK’s Sleep Council show, so if you want to ace your exams you need to get all the sleep you can get.
