Wawrinka among top seeds to crash out of Geneva Open

Two-time winner Stan Wawrinka has crashed out the Geneva Open after losing to Bosnia's Damir Dzumhur in the Round of 16.

The match ended 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Elsewhere, Japan's Taro Daniel beat third-seeded Chilean Cristian Garin 6-2, 4-6, 6-4, and Argentine Federico Delbonis ousted fourth-seeded Hungarian Marton Fucsovics 6-4, 6-2.

Meanwhile, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga rallied past Canadian qualifier Steven Diez 3-6, 7-6, 6-3 to reach the quarterfinals of the Lyon Open.

The former champion will take on top-seeded Nikoloz Basilashvili next.
