South Africa register clean sweep over Australia

South Africa completed a 3-0 series whitewash over Australia with a six-wicket win in the third One-Day International at Potchefstroom.

The hosts reached their victory target of 255 with 27 balls remaining.

JJ Smuts top-scored for the Proteas with 84 off 98 balls, while Kyle Verreynne (50) and Heinrich Klaasen (68 not out) also scored half-centuries.

Marnus Labuschagne (108) earlier struck a maiden ODI century to help the Aussies score 254-7.

Anrich Nortje (2-35) and (2-42) were the pick of South Africa's bowlers.
