Champions League: Liverpool crash out as PSG advance

Holders Liverpool crashed out of the Champions League after being taken to extra-time at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s men lost 3-2 to Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their last-16 match.

Llorente scored a double and Alvaro Morata struck the decisive goal in the 120th minute to give the Spanish side a 4-2 aggregate victory.

Elsewhere, Paris Saint-Germain progressed to the quarter-finals with a 3-2 aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund.

Trailing 2-1 from the first leg in Dortmund, the Ligue 1 champions levelled the tie when Neymar netted just before the half-hour mark and Juan Bernat gave them the lead in first-half stoppage time.
