Alexis Sanchez set to leave Manchester United

Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of joining Inter Milan on a season-long loan from Manchester United.

The deal is almost done, with the Chilean forward expected to sign his contract with Inter on Wednesday.

United will pay a portion of his wages but it’s understood the move does not include an option to buy.

Sanchez has had a difficult spell at Old Trafford since joining from Arsenal 19 months ago.

He has scored just five goals for United in 45 games.
