Around 10,000 students across the UAE will sit an exam on moral values this year.
The 45-minute assessment for Grade 3, 5, 7 and 9 will be piloted in 70 public and private schools to measure the effectiveness of teaching good character and values.
Results will be evaluated as a group to compare schools and curriculums rather than individuals.
Teachers have shared with ARN News what the new exams on moral education could look like.
Erika Elkady, Head of Secondary at Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS), explains what could await students.
However, Elkady says the assessment process needs to be handled carefully.
