Pope Francis, Grand Imam of Al Azhar sign peace pledge

Pope Francis and Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Dr. Ahmad Al Tayyeb, have signed a document promoting peace across the world.

The two religious leaders signed the pledge on Monday in Abu Dhabi in the presence of the UAE's leaders.

The Human Fraternity Document aims to advance a culture of mutual respect that transcends all nationalities, backgrounds and beliefs.

Pope Francis will hold the Holy Mass at Zayed Sports City Stadium before he heads back to Rome, concluding his historic three-day visit to the Emirates.
