3 killed in Ottawa bus crash

Three people have been killed in Canada after a double-decker bus hit a bus shelter.

The incident, which happened in the capital city Ottawa, also left nearly thirty people injured.

The crash took place at a busy transit station in the west end of the city.

Ottawa's mayor Jim Watson said two of the victims were on the bus while second was on the platform.

An investigation has been launched in to the incident.
